Senior Vice President, Banking and Financial Services

Meredith Baker Rousseau ’98 graduated RPI with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. After graduating, she began her career in Technology as a consultant including development, audit, cyber security and project delivery for both Deloitte and Touche and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In 2009, she began her career in Banking with TD Bank serving in various leadership capacities in Risk, Compliance, Operations, Payments, Strategy and Transformation. Meredith is now with SolomonEdwards Group as part of the Banking and Financial Services practice and is a payment and deposit operations professional with expertise in program management, transformative initiatives, process improvement, and technology. She has nearly 30 years of varied management and consulting experience with a track record of success, effectively elevated organizational performance by implementing innovative processes and technology solutions. Her extensive industry experience covers financial services, retail, oil and gas, manufacturing, and government sectors.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Meredith is an avid volunteer and philanthropist. Meredith has stayed connected with RPI by serving on the Rensselaer Alumni Association Board of Trustees for the last two years. With a passion for her community, she also serves on the Board of the United Way of Southern Maine (UWSM) where she sits on the Finance Committee, Equity and Inclusion Task Force, and is a founding member of the UWSM Women United Giving Circle supporting single mothers and their children in underserved communities in Southern Maine. She also has a passion for STEM education and supporting young people in Maine. She currently sits on the Board of the Maine School of Science and Mathematics (MSSM) Foundation Board of Directors, is President of the MSSM Parents Association, and is a mentor for the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute.
