Chris Argyrople, CFA

Co-Founder, Triad Alpha Partners

Chris Argyrople

Mr. Argyrople began his career in the mid-1980s as the first full time investment employee at publicly traded Acadian Asset Management (ticker: AAMI), where he developed and tested versions of the Nobel winning Fama-French models many years prior to their publications.  Argyrople's research at Acadian was in 16 foreign stock markets plus the USA, putting Acadian far ahead of the Nobel winning team's research on the topic and was the basis of what is now a thriving publicly traded firm.  This research began a career at various small and start-up long-short hedge funds including PAR Capital Management, Delta Partners, and Concentric, where he held roles spanning all aspects of the business including investment research, risk management, accounting and back office, legal, and client relations.  During the financial crisis, he and his associate at Triad Alpha Partners purchased commercial real estate, and more recently are investing in private credit.  Over the years, Mr. Argyrople has taught graduate school investment classes at Boston College, Suffolk University, and the Boston Security Analysts Society.  He has also taught CFA test prep classes and helped develop practice CFA exams.  He received his S.M. in Management from M.I.T. and B.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
