ISE faculty Jennifer Pazour has been selected to receive the prestigious Dr. Hamed K. Eldin Outstanding Early Career IE in Academia Award.  This award recognizes individuals in academia who have demonstrated outstanding characteristics in education, leadership, professionalism and potential in industrial engineering. STEM Stars: High School Students Showcase Engineering Excellence in FIRST® STEAMworks

Rensselaer Engineering Professor Joe Chow Elected to National Academy of Engineering

Troy, N.Y. — Joe Chow, power grid control expert and professor of electrical, computer, and systems engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Chow was elected for his technical contributions to modeling, analysis, and control of large-scale power grids.
